vision

Our vision is to make a difference in the families and service members of this community that will last a lifetime.

The Building Hope Foundation, Inc. was originally founded as the Vision Fund, a non-profit charitable organization affiliated with the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Fairfield County. In 2011, the name of the 501(c)3 organization changed to reflect the ongoing efforts to assist the families, veterans and other charitable organizations of Fairfield County with structural improvements, access ramps, elevators, and safety doors etc

The Building Hope Foundation is active in supporting charitable activities in Fairfield county communities. Past involvement has included participation in building handicap accessible ramps for clients of St. Vincent’s Special Needs Center, donations to the EJ’s House construction project in Ridgefield, the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project in Bridgeport, Habitat for Humanity, the Marine Corps League and the Girls Scouts Cookies for the Troops program.
The Annual Gala and Silent Auction is the main fundraiser for the organization that allows us to continue to cover costs for these valuable projects. Each year the Building Hope Foundation also awards the prestigious Building Hope Foundation Philanthropist of the Year
Awards & the Building Hope Foundation Care Award at the Annual Gala.
